NexGard® Chewables for Dogs are once-monthly, beef flavoured chews containing a powerful active ingredient that provide effective protection against fleas, paralysis ticks, brown dog ticks and bush ticks.
NexGard does not need to be given with food. You can choose to give the chew at any time that suits you and your dog with or without a meal.

NexGard chews are available in packs of 1, 3 and 6 chews for four dog weight ranges:

*For dogs over 121lbs, administer the appropriate combination of chewables.

NexGard® Chewables for Dogs 24.1 to 60 lbs is generally well-tolerated by dogs. However, as with any medication, there is a possibility of side effects. The most commonly reported side effects observed in clinical trials include:
Vomiting: Some dogs may experience temporary episodes of vomiting after administration. If vomiting occurs within two hours of giving NexGard Chewables, consult your veterinarian for guidance.
Diarrhea: In rare cases, dogs may develop diarrhea, which usually resolves on its own.
Lethargy: Dogs may exhibit mild lethargy or decreased activity levels, but this should be temporary and resolved without intervention.
If you notice any unusual or severe side effects, or if your dog experiences an allergic reaction such as difficulty breathing, swelling, or hives, seek immediate veterinary attention.

- Directions for use

Ensure the proper administration of NexGard chewables with these simple directions:
- Position your dog in a comfortable standing position for easy administration.
- Offer the entire chewable tablet to your dog orally, either directly in their mouth or mixed with a small portion of their regular food.
- Observe your dog closely to ensure they have swallowed the complete tablet. If needed, break the chewable into smaller pieces for smaller dogs.
- NexGard Chewables can be given with or without food, but if your dog has a sensitive stomach, it’s recommended to administer it with a meal.
- For optimal effectiveness, make sure your dog consumes the entire dose of NexGard Chewables.
- Consult your veterinarian if you notice any uneaten or partially eaten tablets.
- Administer NexGard Chewables once a month to maintain continuous protection against fleas and ticks.
- If your dog vomits within two hours of administration, consult your veterinarian to determine if an additional dose is necessary.
- Store NexGard Chewables in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and keep them out of the reach of children and other pets.
